If you are sick and tired of seeing the bookshelves of Borders crammed with the same, redundant, sales titles that we have seen for the last 60 years, then I strongly encourage you to read Coffee. I found the book to be humorous and even funny at times, and always interesting. It is mature and clever, but most important it reminds us of the few cornerstone things that we must do as sellers to become good at it. Excellent book!

Most Sales books on the market today attempt to teach the reader how to become a "great" seller by following a series of steps or some esoteric sales methodology which takes more time to figure out than it does to actually try to implement. Invariably, these recommendations are mostly theoretic hooey! "Coffee is for Closers Only!" is a new type of book in the Oxford Hill Press series that takes an entertaining, tongue-in-cheek approach to analyzing the sales profession, while reinforcing the few fundamental aspects of selling that really make sellers more effective. This book is NOT one of those boring instructional manuals on "how-to-sell," nor is it intended to be "the answer" to increasing your sales. We make no claims or promises that by reading this book you will somehow miraculously become a "selling machine." Heck, after reading this book you might disagree with most of what is written herein; and that's ok. But one thing we are confident about is that you will enjoy every minute of the read!
